Do you know a woman making a meaningful impact in rural or emerging industries, businesses, or communities? Now's the time to recognise her.
Nominations are officially open for the 2026 Tasmanian AgriFutures Rural Women's Award-Australia's premier award celebrating the vital contributions of women in rural and regional areas. This award provides recipients with financial support and practical resources to bring their ideas to life, while also strengthening their leadership skills and capacity to represent their communities.
In 2025, Tasmania was proudly represented by Sarah De Jonge, whose social enterprise 1000 Hearts is fostering connection and healing through creativity, compassion, and the belief that small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
If someone you know is making a difference in in your community, then we want to hear from you.
