​​​​A new app has been launched to collect roadkill data and map roadkill hotspots in Tasmania.

The Tasmanian Roadkill Reporter is an in-house app that makes it easy for people to report roadkill.

Everyone is responsible for helping to reduce roadkill and we can all help reduce the number of animals being killed on our roads by taking care while driving at night and slowing down between dusk and dawn.

Data collected will help road users and road owners identify ways to reduce roadkill and protect Tasmania’s wildlife.

Follow the instructions on how to install the Tasmanian Roadkill Reporter​ to make a report. 

Remember, safety comes first so the Tasmanian Roadkill Reporter app should only be used when safe to do so. It is illegal to use the app while driving.​
