Strategic Industry Partnership Program applications now open

​​​​The Strategic Industry Partnership Program (SIPP) application period is open.

The program provides targeted small grants to peak industry bodies and organisations that play a critical role in supporting agri-food industry sectors on a co-investment basis.

A total of $500 000 is available for Programs in the 2023 Round with funding between $10 000 and $100 000 for eligible projects. Collaborative projects above this level of funding will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

This round of funding will be allocated to projects that support the agricultural sector to

  • Address barriers and accelerate sustainable growth within industry.
  • Create innovative solutions to support industry with climate-smart agricultural practices, improving circular economy and the wise use of water.
  • Improve the health, safety and wellbeing within the sector, including supporting localised food systems.
  • Help agriculture build resilience, including support for new targeted development of skills and training.

Applications close on 29 September.

Program funding was provided under the Tasmanian Government Accelerating Agriculture policy in 2021-22.
