Surplus Crown land to be sold by public process

​​​​The sale of surplus Crown Land in Tasmania through a public land sales program has commenced.

Parks and Wildlife Service’s (PWS) Property Services Sales Unit is facilitating the identification and disposal of surplus Crown land.

Each land parcel will be assessed for natural and cultural heritage values prior to release, and PWS will liaise with local councils about the development of the land in accordance with each municipality’s planning schemes.

The sale of surplus Crown land through this program is an open public process. Any enquiries on surplus Crown land should be directed to the listed real estate agent.
