What's your plan for the next drought, fire, flood or downturn?
You can't predict the next setback to hit your farm, but you can prepare for it so that your productivity and profitability are protected.
The Tasmanian Farm Business Resilience (FBR) Program helps Tasmanian farmers grow their businesses and plan with confidence — no matter what the seasons bring.
The FBR Program has been extended – register your interest.
FBR 2 is underway and is being delivered through the
Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture (TIA) in conjunction with the TAS Farm Innovation Hub.
Program activities will focus on strengthening the resilience and preparedness of farmers and rural communities in response to drought, changing climate and other business challenges.
The FBR program provides:
Practical training delivered by experts who know farming;
Business coaching to build confidence in decision-making and risk management;
Tools, skills and techniques to consider their business objectives, risks, and better plan for the future; and
Flexible delivery options, including online and face-to-face options, peer-to-peer learning and one-on-one coaching.
TIA will announce the commencement of activities in the coming months. In the meantime, primary producers are encouraged to register their interest in the program by completing the information below.
By registering your interest, you consent to NRE Tas providing your details to the TIA FBR team who will provide you with further information once the program is underway.
