What's Involved

The Farm Business Resilience Program allows you to take a step back from the day-to-day and focus on the big picture.

At the heart of the program is your own Farm Business Resilience Plan highlighting your business priorities. Your plan will define clear steps to address the issues that matter most to you.

Some key areas your plan might cover:

  • When to diversify, expand, de-stock or pivot

  • How to respond to on-farm emergencies or pest and disease outbreaks

  • What long-term goals and values drive your decision-making

What Makes This Program Different?

Rather than just offering information, we walk the journey with you.

One-on-one guidance:
You’ll work with a skilled coach and have access to expert advice on topics such as farm operations, finance, environment, and people.
Real-world action:
We’ll help you identify risks and opportunities, and turn them into a practical, realistic plan.
Tailored to you:
No two farms are alike, so this program is built around your goals, your challenges, and your pace.
Lasting impact:
The skills and strategies you gain will benefit your business well beyond the program.

Who Can Take Part?

If you run a non-corporate farm business in Tasmania and are registered for GST, you’re eligible. Sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and private companies are all welcome.

Timing and Flexibility

The program is available now and runs through to September 2025. We work around your schedule, and you can let us know when you're available during your expression of interest.

Once you’re in, you’ll also have continued access to digital learning resources.
