​​​​​Business support is available through a range of organisations and initiatives to help prepare and overcome seasonal conditions like drought and dry conditions in Tasmania. These can help improve your farm capabilities with coaching, provide access to funding, or plan for future requirements:



Farm Business Resilience

​The Farm Business Resilience​​ program is focuses on improving strategic farm management capabilities that lead to making better decisions, more often.  The program comprise group learning and individual coaching designed to help you create or update farm business plans.

​Regional Drought Resilience Planning Program
​​The Regional Drought Resilience Planning Program is supporting regions to develop regional drought resilience plans to prepare for and manage future drought risks.

​TAS Farm ​​Innovation Hub 

​The TAS Farm Innovation Hub is one of eight established across Australia by the Commonwealth Future Drought Fund. 

The hub helps Tasmanian farmers, and those who support them, build relationships, access essential information, and build critical skills and knowledge to prepare for drought and climate change.

​Drought Ready Tasmania

​The Tasmanian Government recognises the importance of farmers and communities being more prepared for, and resilient to, the impacts of seasonal conditions including drought.  

The Drought Ready Tasmania​ site links Tasmanian producers with the range of resources to assist producers.​

​Hardship and financial support
