Brands, Earmarks and Tattoos​​

​Bobby Calf Tags​​

All bobby calves (calves up to six weeks old) that are sent directly to an abattoir must be tagged with white ear tags. These tags must be authorised by the Registrar of Brands and show the appropriate property identification code.

Requirements: Order through your local rural agent Drovers bobby calf tags only.

Unsafe Cattle

Producers who are unable to tag their cattle in a safe manner, must obtain a permit prior to dispatching cattle without NLIS identification. Please use the application form below:
