​​AgriGrowth Tasmania (AGT) is a specialist group within the Agriculture and Water strategic business unit  within NRE Tas. AgriGrowth Tasmania's roles include:

  • supporting the Government's commitment to sustainably grow the value of the agricultural sector in Tasmania to $10 billion by 2050
  • oversee the delivery of Tasmania's Sustainable Agri-Food Plan and related policies
  • provide leadership and expertise to foster a competitive and sustainable agriculture and food sector
  • produce publications like the Tasmanian Agri-Food Scorecard and AgriBusiness Insights.​
