AEC Submission and Meeting Dates

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Animal Ethics Committee (AEC) meets approximately every 6-7 weeks to review research submissions. 

Submissions​​ to the AEC are due two-weeks prior to each meeting to allow sufficient time for meeting preparation and for any minor questions or changes to be addressed.

Please send completed and signed submissions to the AEC Executive Officer by the submission date: executiveofficer.aec@nre.tas.gov.au

Submission forms​​ are available. Scanned WORD d​ocuments sent by email are also acceptable.

Submissions ​​received after the submission date will be held over until the following AEC meeting. Only under exceptional circumstances, and where there is a justifiable reason for a late submission.​
