​​Marine Farming Development Plans set out where and how aquaculture operations can occur around Tasmania. Occasionally, new Marine Farming Development Plans are proposed or existing plans are amended.

Existing Emergency Marine Farming Development Plans​

The Minister for Primary Industries and Water may approve Emergency Marine Farming Development Plans to address short-term emergencies. Emergency plans remain in-force for a period not exceeding two years and override the existing Marine Farming Development Plan in the case of inconsistencies. 

There are currently no emergency plans in force.
