​​​​​​​Notifiable Pests and Diseases​

Notifiable pests and diseases must be reported to Biosecurity Tasmania. Not only is this a legal requirement under Tasmania’s Biosecurity Act 2019​, but this is also a condition of beekeeper registration under Part B, Section 2 of the Australian Honey Bee Industry Biosecurity Code of Practice.​

The pests listed below are not notifiable. 

If you find these in your apiary, you do not need to report their presence to Biosecurity Tasmania.
