Notifiable Pests and Diseases
Certain pests and diseases are classed as 'declared pests and diseases' or 'prohibited matter' under the
Biosecurity Act 2019. Pests or diseases that fall under either of these categories must be reported to Biosecurity Tasmania as soon as possible following detection (or suspect detection).
