The Veterinary Board of Tasmania is an independent statutory authority responsible for administering the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1987. Responsibilities include registering veterinary surgeons and veterinary specialists, inspecting veterinary premises, and investigating complaints about veterinary surgeons in Tasmania.
