What am I required to do?
You must follow all the requirements relating to:
Property Identification Code (PIC): All premises holding identifiable livestock must have a PIC.

Movement documents: Documents must be completed each time identifiable livestock leave a PIC.
Advertising livestock: All advertisements for identifiable livestock must provide the PIC and contact details required by the Regulations.
Why do the laws apply to me?
In the case of a livestock disease outbreak or food safety issue, it is critical that you can be contacted so you know how to protect your livestock and those on surrounding properties.
What can happen if I don’t comply?
The penalties/fines that apply to commercial farmers under the Regulations also apply to hobby farmers and pet owners.
