CLOSED - Grant Round 1 - Sheep and Goat Electronic Identification (eID) Support Scheme

Round 1 of the Support Scheme facilitated the installation of required infrastructure and equipment to establish eID scanning at crucial points throughout the sheep and goat supply chain. 

It helped support the implementation of mandatory individual eID for sheep and goats from 1 January 2025. 

Eligible applicants for this first round included:

• Saleyards

• Processors

• Transport Depots

• Livestock Transporters

• Livestock Agencies and Agents​
