Major services provided/activities performed by this NATA-accredited laboratory include:

• Testing for a wide range of plant viruses, some viroids and selected bacterial pathogens in a wide range of plants and seeds by trained scientists providing authoritative, independent and confidential test results and advice. Our client base includes private agribusinesses, commercial growers, scientists, biosecurity, government research bodies and certification schemes from across the country.

• TASAG ELISA is the Australian Distributor for Agdia Products. Agdia is one of the world leaders in the production of plant pathogen and GMO trait test reagents and kits designed for both the laboratory and the field. Their website is available at www.agdia.com. Note that prices are in American dollars and charges for freight and GST will apply in most cases.

• The TASAG ELISA Laboratory is NATA-accredited under ISO/IEC 17025 (plant virus tests only) and has maintained this accreditation for over ten years. NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities) regularly audits all aspects of the laboratory's activities to ensure they comply with the standard. This means that clients can have greater confidence in the laboratory's technical capability, and in the reliability of the test results provided.
