Traveller's Guide to Tasmanian Biosecurity - What You Can and Can't Bring into Tasmania

Tasmania has some of the best produce and most unique environments in the world. You can help us protect Tasmania from introduced pests, weeds and diseases by ensuring that when you visit us you are not carrying or importing any restricted items.

On arrival in Tasmania some items need to be inspected by a Biosecurity Tasmania officer. The officer makes the final decision about whether your item is allowed into Tasmania. If you're in any doubt, our advice is to leave risk items at home or not post them.
