Taking Native Fauna (Non-Scientific)

​A permit may be required for a development activity that will involve the collection, disturbance or destruction of protected wildlife in Tasmania.

Protected wildlife includes:
    • all threatened species
    • most native vertebrates
    • all animals on reserved land
    • products of wildlife (eg. nests, burrows)

Use this form to apply for a permit to take and/or possess protected wildlife for non-scientific purposes.
