The TVMMP is the authoritative source of digital vegetation community information in Tasmania and provides services to government and the people of Tasmania through:
the development and maintenance of vegetation community mapping layers and supporting information;
tools for assessing the condition and change in Tasmania's vegetation; and
the provision of expert advice on vegetation community matters for a range of audiences, including natural resource managers, land-use decision makers/regulators, educators and the general public.
