Threatened Species List - Vertebrate Animals

The tables below contain lists of all vertebrate animal species (as at January) which are on Tasmania's Threatened Species Protection Act 1995.

The Commonwealth status refers to listings under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999. As nominations are being received all the time, the species and or their status may have already changed.
