Waste Levy and Data Readiness Grant Program

Continuing the Tasmanian Government's commitment to supporting compliance with the Waste and Resource Recovery Act 2022, the Waste Levy and Data Readiness Program was launched for operators of landfill and resource recovery facilities.

Applications have now closed, and the program is now assessing applications for funding of up to $50,000 (GST exclusive) to assist facilities with the costs of modifying systems, processes and infrastructure to support:

• the effective collection and management of waste data

• compliance with reporting obligations under the Waste and Resource Recovery Act 2022
