The National Waste Policy Action Plan 2024: Tasmanian Implementation Plan sets out the actions being taken by the Tasmanian Government to support the priorities in the National Waste Policy Action Plan 2024, which was endorsed by Australia’s Environment Ministers in December 2024.
The Tasmanian Implementation Plan should be read in conjunction with the 2024 Action Plan.
The actions in the Tasmanian Implementation Plan are focused on the priority areas set out in the 2024 Action Plan, which are aimed at accelerating progress towards national resource recovery targets and helping with Australia’s transition towards a circular economy.
