LISTmap Mapping Interface

https://maps.thelist.tas.gov.au

Unchanged

All functionality within the web application will remain in WGS84 Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere) based on a 1994.0 epoch. That is, the projected coordinates are effectively equivalent to GDA94 projected coordinates, not GDA2020.
LISTmap Clip and ShipUnchangedThis is a data export function within the LISTmap web application. Datasets will be available for export in MGA94 Zone 55 only.

LIST Web Services

https://services.thelist.tas.gov.au

Unchanged

No changes will be made to the web services. The underlying data is stored in WGS84 Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere). The web server can transform and reproject data on-the-fly, effectively making the data available in the following coordinate systems:

   • WGS84 Web Mercator (Auxiliary Sphere)

   • WGS84 (geographical)

   • MGA94 Zone 55

   • GDA94 (geographical)

SurCoM (Survey Control Marks Database)

https://surcom.dpipwe.tas.gov.au/

GDA2020 CompliantSurCoM delivers survey control mark coordinates in GDA2020 upon selection of that datum from a drop-down list of options.

LIST Spatial Data Deliveries (including Service Level Agreements)

GDA2020 Available Upon RequestData supplies can be configured to supply data to clients in GDA2020 (geographical) and MGA2020 Zone 55 coordinate systems upon request. Please contact LIST Help Desk for more information (listhelp@dpipwe.tas.gov.au).

Open Data

https://listdata.thelist.tas.gov.au/opendata/

GDA2020 Available Upon RequestThe standard coordinate system for OpenData datasets will continue to be MGA94 Zone 55, but datasets will be made available in MGA2020 Zone 55 upon request (see below for more detail). Please contact LIST Help Desk for more information (listhelp@dpipwe.tas.gov.au).

LISTdata Metadata Portal

https://www.thelist.tas.gov.au/app/content/data

GDA2020

Available Upon Request

Raster data supplies including aerial photography and DEMs can be supplied to clients upon request. Please contact LIST Help Desk for more information (listhelp@dpipwe.tas.gov.au).

TASMAP Mapping Products

https://www.tasmap.tas.gov.au/

GDA2020 CompatibleDue to the map scale of the TASMAP Mapping Products, there are no technical changes required to make map products GDA2020 compatible. The change in datum shift at a scale of 1:50,000 equates to only 0.04mm on paper. From March 1, 2020 newly printed maps will include a statement in the accompanying production text indicating that the horizontal datum is GDA2020.

Placenames Tasmania
