Lodgement Form:
A lodgement form must be completed and accompany a dealing or set of dealings lodged with the Land Titles Office. Lodgement forms are available to download or complete online through the Tasmanian Online Land Dealings (TOLD) system (under the Supporting Documents header).
Notice of Change to Ownership:
A completed notice of change to ownership form must be lodged with any dealing that changes ownership details. This enables the Land Titles Office to notify the State Revenue Office, Office of the Valuer-General and the relevant Local Government Authority (Council) of that change. Notices of change to ownership will issue when completing dealings online, or can be downloaded via the Tasmanian Online Land Dealings (TOLD) system (under the Supporting Documents header).
If you are the registered proprietor of a property and wish to change your address for service of notices (with the relevent Council, State Revnue Office and the Office of the Valuer General), you can complete a Notice of Change of Ownership (bottom section of the form).
Providing the completed form to the Land Titles Office will allow us to notify those entities of the change of address for service of notices.
The Notice can be prepared via this link Notice of Change of Ownership or a PDF is available on the FAQ webpage.
You can lodge the Notice using the normal channels stated above or by emailing lto@nre.tas.gov.au
