SUBJECT: PROPERTY CONVEYANCING REFORMS – REGISTRATION FOR INFORMATION SESSIONS
Reference is made to Office Circulars No's. 5/2023 and 6/2023 and to the draft Recorder's Directions which have been circulated. It is recommended that practitioners familiarise themselves with the new requirements and plan for any changes to business practices required by these Directions. Further, the Land Titles Office will soon be publishing relevant educational material.
As outlined in Office Circular No.5/2023, the Land Titles Office will be conducting Information Sessions to assist with the transition to the new practices and procedures associated with conveyancing.
Who should attend to the Information Sessions?
Legal Practitioners and Licensed Conveyancers across Tasmania, and invited representatives of Financial Institutions, are encouraged to participate. Attendees are also urged to disseminate this information within their respective firms, especially to other staff impacted by these changes.
Please note that due to capacity restrictions, we are unable to accommodate support staff.

- Launceston Information Session
Date: Tuesday, 6 February 2024
