SUBJECT: UPDATES TO LODGEMENT FORM – PROVISION OF CONTACT DETAILS
The Recorder's Directions which take effect on 7 March 2024 make binding Directions relating to the preparation and lodgement for registration of applications, dealings, instruments, and other documents for the purposes of the Land Titles Act 1980.
As per Clause 12 of the Directions, each Subscriber participating in a Conveyancing Transaction must provide Contact Details to the Person who is to Lodge. The Person who is to Lodge is then required to provide to the Recorder of Titles the required Contact Details of each Subscriber to the Conveyancing Transaction.
To facilitate this requirement, the Land Titles Office has produced the Lodgment Form – Contact Details, which is required to be completed and lodged for each Registry Instrument or other Document to which the Recorder's Directions apply.
The Lodgment Form, and Lodgment Form – Contact Details, are available on the Land Titles Office website, linked below:

In due course, the Lodgment Form available through TOLD will be updated to incorporate the requirement to provide Contact Details. Until then, if using the Lodgment Form available through TOLD, the Lodgment Form – Contact Details will also be required at lodgment.
