The Land Titles Office is pleased to announce that current processing times for Land Titles Office dealings* are now publicly available on the LIST website.

The volume of lodgments received by the Land Titles Office rises and falls at different times with industry demand. That, coupled with our internal resourcing, affects processing times.

For transparency, the Land Titles Office is now publishing current processing times on the LIST. This can be accessed on the LIST website by clicking on the ‘Dealing Progress’ link in the left-hand menu. Alternatively, it can be accessed by clicking on this link: Dealing Progress Search (thelist.tas.gov.au​)

The Dealing Progress page indicates the number of days since lodgment of dealings currently being examined.

The number will be updated weekly to reflect changes in processing times.

While not offered as a guarantee, providing current processing times will hopefully enable you to estimate timeframes between lodgment and examination. This will remove any need to contact the Land Titles Office with enquiries about processing times. It is noted that any time spent by Land Titles Office staff responding to such enquiries is time that is not being spent processing dealings.

It is hoped that this new function will be a useful tool to the lodging public.
