Informal discussion sessions
The Recorder's Directions which take effect on 7 March 2024 make binding Directions relating to the preparation and lodgement for registration of applications, dealings, instruments, and other documents for the purposes of the Land Titles Act 1980.
In relation to the Directions, and in addition to the published material available via the NRE Website (Lodgment Requirements), the Recorder is offering further guidance in the form of informal discussion sessions. These sessions will be an opportunity for feedback and guidance, the first of which will be for the purpose of conversation in respect of Verification of Identity and Client Authorisation. The second series of sessions is for conversation in respect of Verification of Right to Deal. Attendance will be limited, however a number of sessions will be held. Book to attend these sessions using the links below.

Documents and information
The Recorder's Directions which take effect on 7 March 2024 do not change the need for you to continue to lodge in support of your dealings, the documents or information required with that dealing.
Signing of Registry Instruments or other Documents
Your client will continue to sign Registry Instruments or other Documents, until any amendment is made to the Land Titles Office forms. The forms will be amended incrementally, and this certainly will not occur before Easter 2024 (not before 28 March). Sufficient notice will be communicated, prior to amended forms being required.
