Office Circular No. 10/2018 - Completion of Deeds Office Digitisation

CIRCULAR MEMORANDUM: 10/2018
SUBJECT: COMPLETION OF DEEDS OFFICE DIGITISATION
I am pleased to advise that the extensive
digitisation works for records held in the Deeds Office have been completed,
with the last record sets added to the LIST last week. These records are:
- Land Titles Act Indexes,
- Historic cancelled Certificates of Titles (Volumes 1-1115), and
- Purchase Grants.
The digitised records can be
accessed for free through the new “Historical Certificates of Titles and
Purchase Grants” search facility on LIST.
All physical documents have also
been transferred to the Tasmanian Archives and Heritage Office for permanent

patience during the period of transition, and am pleased to be able to provide
online access to these records.
