The licensing year is 1 November 2021 - 31 October. Licences are valid from the date of purchase until 31 October 2022. Short term licences are not available.
- You aren't required to have your licence with you when you fish but can carry a digital copy or your receipt if you wish. From 2022, plastic licence cards will no longer be issued.
What types of fishing do I need a licence for?
$57.75 - first licence (base fee of $49.50 plus $8.25 for first licence). Each additional licence type -
|Concession Licence: Commonwealth Pension, DVA Concession, Government Seniors card holders and persons under 16.||$33.00 - first licence (base fee of $24.75 plus $8.25 for first licence). Each additional licence type -
(Health Care Card holders are not eligible)
|Additional Licence:||$8.25 - add a licence type plus cost of the new licence type. |
|Special Rock Lobster Licence:|
(increased possession limit for 14 days)
|$49.50 - must hold a recreational rock lobster licence.
