  • March 2021: Final Rural Water Use Strategy released​

Draft Rura​l W​​a​te​​r Use Strategy

The Draft Rural Water Use Strategy was open for public comment from 30 October to 16 December 2020. Twenty-two submissions were received.

A Consultation Overview Report is available for download (see below) which summarises all consultation undertaken, along with discussion of the key themes arising from the consultation.

Positi​on Paper

The Rural Water Use Strategy Position Paper was open for public comment from 24 April to 26 June 2020.  Forty-nine submissions were received covering a range of topics that individuals and organisations feel are important for the sustainable management of Tasmania’s water resources and making the most of the opportunities to use our water for productive outcomes.
