Two environmental flows assessments have been undertaken for the Little Swanport River.

An assessment that employed the IFIM (completed in 2001) examined minimum environmental flows for selected environmental values in the Little Swanport River, and an addendum provide additional and updated information for this assessment.

An assessment that employed the TEFF (completed in 2009) examined the high flow environmental water requirements of the Little Swanport River and its estuary. This assessment complements the earlier environmental flows work in this catchment.
