Concessions
A 20 percent (20%) discount on the cost of a licence is available for primary card holders holders of the following current concession cards;
Children under the age of 18 years are entitled to a concession only if they have their own concession card or are named as dependants by their parents on one of the above concession cards. All other secondary card holders are ineligible for these concessions.

Season Dates
2026 hunting licences can be purchased from the 1st of February 2026.
Under the Nature Conservation (Wildlife) Regulations 2021 and the Nature Conservation Act 2002 Hunting Licences are required to hunt the following animals during the gazetted seasons described below.
Please note: season dates are determined by the Nature Conservation (Open Seasons) Order 2004 that may be subject to amendment without notice in response to the results of monitoring and changes in seasonal conditions.

2025 Season
2025 Wallaby season closes 22 February 2026
The 2025 wallaby season is open until 22 February 2026. If you want to hunt wallaby before this date, you must have a 2025 wallaby licence.
There are no discounts for 2025 licences, and refunds are not available if you change your mind or decide not to go hunting, so please choose carefully.
If you buy a 2026 wallaby licence from 1 February 2026, you can begin hunting wallaby from 23 February 2026, when the 2026 wallaby season opens.
